Bread-Making Machines
Help! I have a good friend getting married in TWO weeks and I need to find
her a great wedding gift. Am thinking of a bread-making machine. Does
anyone know of a good brand as well as a store that carries them? I bought
one once from Bed and Bath (under $70!) but they don't seem to carry them
anymore. Thanks! Naomi
We've just bought an Oster bread machine from Costco
after our well used (5 years/ twice a
week)Black&Decker collapsed. We spent $60 for it and
we are very happy with it. It has a large set of
options for bread type, crust color, pasta, pizza
dough etc
Good luck Simona
I got my bread maching at Costco a few years ago. It's a Welbilt. When I got
married the gifts I liked the most were gift certificates to various
stores....Whole Earth, REI, Dept stores....I was already set up in a
house full of most of what I needed though so I didn't need a lot of
appliances and kitchen stuff.

We have NOT been happy with our breadmaker -- Breadman Plus. Most of our
breads come out looking like hockey pucks. Now, we use the machine to mix
the ingredients and allow the dough to rise, then bake the conventional way.
