I am an educational therapist offering remediation in 
reading, writing,spelling and math for children in grades 
Kgn-6th. I bring 35 years of classroom experience and a 
compassionate heart to my work with children. I have a 
certificate in ed therapy from UC Berkeley, and have been 
trained in Slingerland, Language! and Making Math Real 
techniques.I am an Associate Member of AET (Assoc. of

If your child is in need of extra support in elementary school level spelling 
and phonics I am ready to help him or her reach her academic goals and have 
fun in the process! I currently work full time as a first grade teacher at 
Redwood Day School in Oakland. I am available after school, weekends, and 
during the summer to help prepare your child for next year. 

I have a K-8 credential and a master's degree in education from Mills College. 
My fee is $50 per hour.
