Ten years ago, while studying Spanish at Cornell University, I was awarded 
Cornell's Prize for Excellence in Foreign Language Study for demonstrated mastery

After college, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala, where I taught 
Spanish to foreigners and served as a community interpreter.

I have a great love of the Spanish Language. I studied
Spanish at UC Berkeley. I have taught Spanish in the
classroom setting and as a tutor for 7 years. I love to
engage and immerse students of the Spanish language through
mnemonics, relatable and interesting texts, practical

Venezuela and am a graduate of U.C. Berkeley's Spanish and
Portuguese Languages and Literature program. I have lived in
the East Bay for over ten years where I have taught Spanish
both in the classroom, and as a private tutor to children
K-12 and adults. I am also fluent in French and Portuguese.

NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKER.  My name is Patricia.  In addition 
to being a native Spanish speaker, I have been trained to 
teach Spanish.  I have master?s and doctoral degrees in 
Spanish literature and linguistics (University of Florida 
and Boston University).  My undergrad major was in Spanish-
English translation and interpretation.  So, you can bet I 
know all the nuances of the language.  I have been teaching 
Spanish in college at all levels for over 17 years:

Does your teen need to review Spanish over the summer? I'm a professional 
college language instructor and there?ll be homework or flashcards going home 
every day with your child or iphone videos to make of themselves speaking 
Spanish. 5 minutes of review goes a long way. I have the Spanish books from 
most East Bay high schools starting at Spanish 1 up to AP Spanish and literature, 
plus my own props to practice vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, 
grammar, spelling and sentence structure. Happy to put you in touch with

Hola a todos, I am a fourth year Cal Poly student and I am 
available to tutor children of all ages and levels in

Hi! I am a college student who will be in Berkeley for the
summer available for Spanish tutoring. I went to a Spanish
immersion elementary school and went to Berkeley High where
I took AP Spanish and AP Spanish Literature. I am planning
on studying abroad in Madrid this coming fall and am
completing a minor in Spanish at Vassar College. I currently
have a student job working as a Spanish drill instructor,
which involves working with a group of beginning Spanish
students on speaking practice and pronunciation as well as
reviewing grammar and vocabulary. I am willing to work with
