?Hola!
I am a student at Berkeley High School with a lot of knowledge in Spanish and
enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I've tutored students at Berkeley
High many times for tests and homework assignments. I teach basic Spanish
to all and can tutor all levels of Spanish from elementary school up to
intermediate high school level Spanish. I'm familiar with the level of difficulty
of the exams in high school Spanish, including the high school Spanish
placement exam.

It's that time of year! Are you the parent of a middle- or
high-school student who just got bad news about grades in
Spanish class?

I can help! With the new semester, I have a few openings.

I am an energetic, focused, and playful tutor who loves
working with adolescents. I have experience with all kinds
of students, from those with learning disabilities to
those in AP classes headed for top universities.

As a fluent, NON-native speaker with a B.A. and M.A. in
English from Cal, I understand thoroughly the differences
and similarities between Spanish and English, and the
problems English-speakers most frequently encounter when
learning Spanish. I also have developed and taught
classes in Grammar and Time Management?both very often
problems for teenagers, especially when it comes to
foreign language acquistion.

Call or email me for more information, including my
resume and references.

I have only one spot left for Jan 2013!

I love the kids who need the most help. I am an
experienced, credentialed teacher, taking a break from the
classroom. I have succeeded with children where often others
have not been able to, and have successfully reached the
''difficult'' children, or the children who have different
learning styles, as well as the children who do well in
academic settings. I have helped children and teenagers who
absolutely hate school! I can provide testimonials from
other parents.

I'm happy to email you my resume and a description of my
services if you'd like. I will say up front that I charge
more than some tutors but I am a trained, credentialed
teacher and can be more helpful in less time than many. The
best compliment I have ever gotten from a parent was that
the change in her son was ''miraculous.'' That's why I do it!

Hi,

I am a Spanish tutor offering help for all levels of Spanish. I am Bay Area local,
with years of tutoring/teaching experience. I studied Spanish at UC Berkeley
and have lived abroad extensively over the last 5 years (Spain, Argentina and
Chile).
I am fluent in written and verbal Spanish and also have a first-hand

Spanish and tricks to make it stick.

I also have several years of local experience working as a nanny and am really
great with kids.

My rate is $25 an hour for one person, lower rates available for multiple
people.

Thanks a lot!
