Jan 12 2011 Hi! I am a UC Berkeley graduate and gigging musician looking for students 3rd through 12th grade interested in Saxophone, Music Theory and Composition private lessons. I have 10 years experience in teaching private lessons, leading group classes, and conducting high school jazz and concert bands. I have been a House Call Guitar, Drums, and Bass teacher for the past 3 years in the Berkeley/Oakland/El Cerrito area. Several Bay Area schools (Crocker Highlands Elementary, Emerson Elementary, Tehiya Day School, Oakland Hebrew Day School and the Kenan Strike-A-Chord Guitar Program) have contracted with me to help provide their after-school enrichment programs. THE LESSONS are (ages 9 and up): Approximately 30-60 mins in length Learn BASIC MUSIC THEORY ? Read Music and TAB I will drive to your home (traveling costs included) Materials are included (music books, sheet music, etc.) They are SUPER FUN and EASY So if you, your son or daughter are interested in PRIVATE LESSONS, please contact me.
