I am a Berkeley PhD looking to teach students in Elementary or Advanced
Latin. Several of my students are currently reading Tacitus in Latin, but I
would be very happy to start a new group or meet one on one to help
students discover Latin. I also teach Greek and Roman history and
mythology.

I majored in Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek) at UC Santa
Cruz and completed some graduate work in Classics at Yale
University.

I have been tutoring Latin for more than twenty years and
enjoy working with students of all levels-- beginning to
advanced.

I tutor in Berkeley and the surrounding cities.

Hello, my name is Lena, I am a Berkeley native, and I
absolutely love tutoring Latin. I took Latin with Ms.
Herndon at Berkeley High (class of 2007), then minored in
Latin at UC Davis. At Davis, I also worked as a tutor for
GRADTutors, a company providing math/science tutoring
services to UC Davis students.

I am delighted to be back in the Bay, working with so many
wonderful families in the community. If this announcement is
up, I am currently available to tutor Latin in the East Bay
and San Francisco.

I am also available for tutoring in Mathematics,
(AP)Chemistry, (AP)Biology, and Writing (especially writing
college essays). I like to incorporate study skills and time
management techniques into whatever subject I am tutoring.
That said, Latin is by far my favorite subject to tutor.

Please email me at ladylena07@gmail.com for more
information. I can provide references upon request.

I've recently moved to the Bay Area from Sydney, Australia.

I have a Masters in Classics from the University of
Tasmania (2012), and was a tutor (aka TA) and locum
lecturer there from 2010-2012.

I've tutored Latin privately in Australia for three years,
and have been able to help students of all levels improve
their competency, marks, and enjoyment of this wonderful
language. References available upon request; please
contact me via email for further details!

I'm a recent graduate of Berkeley International High School
and will be attending Yale University in the fall. I've been
tutoring in Latin and English for three years and I'm
seeking additional students for July 8-August 20. I've taken
four years of Latin and worked as a proctor for Ms. Karla
Herndon this past year, grading assignments at all levels of
high school Latin. I also took IB English HL and I am
experienced in writing, editing, and literary criticism. I
can meet students in convenient locations in Berkeley.
