I am an undergraduate Classical Languages major at UC 
Berkeley with extensive teaching and tutoring experience 
specifically in Latin. I specialize in Vergil's Aeneid, 
whether the student needs assistance with translation, 
scansion, vocabulary/grammar, figures of speech, or the 
story itself. My hours are flexible-generally any weekday 
after noon. I will tutor anywhere in Berkeley reachable by 
AC Transit, though the public library or a location near 
the university is preferred.

Qualifications: 
Five years high school Latin, two AP Vergil; score of 5 on 
the exam. Three years one-on-one tutoring for beginning, 
intermediate, and advanced Latin students. Three years 
student instructor in Latin. Responsibilities: wrote and 
graded exams, essays, assignments; created body of 
handouts and worksheets that became part of the course 
curriculum; prepared and gave lectures three times a week 
on Vergil.

I am a Ph.D student in Classics at UC Berkeley currently on
leave of absence.  I received a BA in Classical Studies and
English from the University of Pennsylvania and also studied
at Deep Springs College, and I have tutored throughout
college and have taught in tutoring centers and privately. 
In addition to Latin and Ancient Greek, I am also available
to tutor English, writing, organizational skills, Math, and
SAT prep.
