Day Camps in Lamorinda
March 2003
We are moving to Moraga and would like to put our daughter, who
will enter 5th grade at Camino Pablo school next fall , in some
summer programs that would allow her to meet local kids. Any
ideas?

I live in Orinda. The best way for your child to meet other kids
is for you to find out where your local swimming pool is, join
and start your daughter is swim classes. That is the biggest
thing going in the summer. The other way is for you to go as
a family to the concerts in the evening in Moraga commons
and chat it up with other parents. I don't know of any camps
that would have a lot of Moragans but the schools
sometimes have classes in the summer that are fun. Also
see if there is a newcomers club, your realtor should know.
