Can anyone recommend a good,dependable, and honest mechanic who has experience with an 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and is located in the Eastbay? We were using the dealership in San Leandro, but were not satisfied with there customer service (no appointments given and no incentive to complete service within a day) Thanks! E C.

Can anyone recommend an honest, reliable and reasonable mechanic that can work on a Land Rover car? I am located near Lake Merritt, but would be willing to travel for the right shop. Currently, the car needs some break/alignment work, but I am also looking for a shop to do more ongoing work (it’s an old car and the LR dealership is expensive). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. DJ Sally

Do you own a Mitsubishi car? If so, where do you go for routine service and maintenance? My Eclipse was purchased and serviced by Negherbon in Oakland for the past two years - and now Negherbon has closed their Mitsubishi dept. Their only referral was to Mitsubishi dealerships in Concord or Hayward. I'm thinking I'd like to switch to an independent in or close to Berkeley, if you all can give me a good reference. Thanks!
