Re: VW service in Berkeley or Oakland?
For good VW service, we've been very happy with Bauer's German Auto in
Berkeley or European Auto Repair in Alameda. (Not happy at all with AVS
btw.)
Re: mechanic for 1965 VW Beetle
Try Bauer's German Auto Repair on University in Berkeley. I have
had great luck with them and find them to be very knowledgable
and reasonable. I have seen older beetles at the shop too.
