Re: Catholic school with great faith formation?
There is the St. John the Baptist School, San Pablo Ave., in El
Cerrito, just beside the St. John Church. Another landmark is the El
Cerrito Post Office just across it.. Going north along San Pablo Ave.,
El Cerrito, it's on your right with the Bank of the WEst as another
landmark. The school has a diverse student population and is owned by
the Church.
I hope the above information will help.
Good luck!

HI,
We're looking into St. John's for my soon-to-be kindergartener.
I tried looking for some info or feedback about the school but
there doesn't seem to be any posted. I would really love to
hear some feedback....Greatly appreciat it!

My daughter is in the Kindergarten class at St. John the Baptist
in El Cerrito and we absolutely LOVE it. It is the best decision
we have made. The curriculum is impressive, great academics and
the kids adore their teachers Mrs. T and Mrs. M, as well as us
parents. (Some of us would love to go back to that class!)They
are already reading, writing, and having a spell-a-thon. The
community of the school is wonderful and very supportive of each
other. Awesome principal Mrs. Barber. I know they are already
doing interviews and testing, so I would call to try and get the
info now if possible. You can email me with any questions you
may have.
Thank you, Lynda
