I highly recommend El Sobrante Christian High School in El Sobrante. Small class sizes, individual attention, great teacher/student ratio, athletics, college prep classes and wholesome, non-denominational Christian environment. There are optional trips for the entire high school (mission trip to Mexico, and yearly trip to Hume Lake in the mountains, so new students can get acquainted with their classmates). The students there are genuine and not into cliques. The school doesn't tolerate drugs, skipping classes, swearing. The teachers are dedicated, energetic and love to see the students succeed. And best of all, it's affordable & some need-based scholarships will be offered next year. Call Mr. C. S. Have you considered El Sobrante Christian High School? It's a wonderful gem tucked away at 5070 Appian Way, El Sobrante. They have college prep classes, small teacher to student ratio, and lots of individual attention. Activities available are sports (basketball, volleyball, track and field), yearbook, leadership, CSF, drama and band. The staff and teachers are caring yet demand the best from the students. Also, there is a one week trip to Hume Lake at the beginning of each school year so new students can get to know others and make new friends. They have college preperatory classes, small class size, are non-denominational, and employ excellent academic staff.
