Re: Looking for a reform temple
We too were recently looking for a reform synagogue. We live in Walnut Creek. We
looked at 3 reform ones and decided on B'nai Tikvah. It's about 300 families.
Seems very warm and welcoming. My advice is to go and check them out for
services, events, etc. Temple Isaih (Lafayette) is the largest reform temple in
the area, but it may be too big for your taste. Good luck. Email if you want more
info.

Re: Seeking a diverse, open minded reform synagogue
Our synagogue in Walnut Creek is a very open friendly place. Most of our congregants are mixed families. Please come and check out our Tot, Family and Shabbat services or just come in to chat with the Rabbi.

Re: Contra Costa Reform Synagogues?
I am a new member of B'nai Tikvah in Walnut Creek, which my husband and I have found to be one of the most warm and welcoming synagogues in the East Bay. If you'd like to attend a service, let me know. We'd be happy to meet you ahead of time so that you have friends to sit with at the service. Also, it's a good idea to give the temple a call and let them know that you are interested-they're very nice. The temple's number is 925-933-5397. Anna
