Re: Family friendly church for a newbie

I wish I wanted to go to church, and if I did, I would definitely try out the church associated with my daughter's preschool: Skyline Community Church, on Skyline Blvd in Oakland just south of Skyline HS (south of Redwood Rd). The acting pastor, Alexis, is so friendly, and so sweet to the kids (we had a preschool Sunday and a Christmas night at the church). The church is small, spectacular, basically facing a terrific view of the hills, and very inspiring. I think it's a UCC or UUC church (I get them mixed up). 531-8212- you could always call and ask her. janet
