My good friend Kathleen Whittemore has started up a home day care in El Cerrito and will be accepting three children, along with her two year old son. Kathleen was a respected and beloved teacher at Crestmont school until she left last year to give time to her own family. She is a wonderful, caring and capable caregiver; she is very knowledgeable about child development and is gifted with a sweet demeanor and good common sense. She's camped with us, helped us in the middle of the night , babysat for us and even attended the birth of my little one.
