I researched and read through many postings and recommendations on BPN when I was looking for a full-time nanny when my daughter was 2 months old. She will be 1 year old next month and she has been under the care of Irene Waxman and we can't be any happier. Irene is a great nanny with 13 years of experience. She is very supportive of breast feeding and was very accommodating when the first few months my son would not nap without being held. There is an opening at a terrific, small family daycare in the Richmond Annex. I highly recommend my daughter's babysitter, Irene Waxman, who we feel truly blessed to have found. Irene has a warm, loving and kind demeanor that instills confidence in any worried parent and happiness in the children she lovingly watches. She has many years of childcare and glowing references that attest to Irene's seemingly endless supply of patience and cheerfulness. Irene generally has 3-4 kids at any one time, which is a lovely small number for the little ones. She has a darling 9-year-old daughter who plays with the kids after school and during the summer (and who my daughter adores.) The home-based daycare where my infant daughter attends has an opening for a youngster who is already walking. My daughter has been in this daycare since she was 3 months old and we have been very happy with her care.
