We are so happy with Virginia's Family Daycare, and our 3 year old son loves it! Virginia Rico's 15 years of professional childcare experience really shows in the nurturing, creative way she works with children. At Berkeley's Model School, where she cared for my nephew, she worked in the infant/toddler rooms for 8 years, then was a preschool teacher for 5.

She now has a fully licensed home daycare where she has created a safe, playful environment. HER RATE IS INCREDIBLY REASONABLE: $5/hr for 2 - 5 yr. olds, $6.25 for infant - 2 yrs. She has a fenced in yard, and gets the kids out a lot. She does arts, crafts, cooking and many other activities with them.

She has openings for infants through 5 yr olds, full-time and part-time. (My son goes "as needed" for a higher rate because of my work situation). I like that Virginia gets down on the floor and plays with the kids, yet also knows how to set constructive limits. The best recommendation is that Aiden often asks "Can I go to Virginia's today?"
