My 2.5 year old daughter attends Violet's House in Alameda. It's a lovely little in home daycare/preschool. I love it because it’s a small childcare but the owner, Jennifer Hees, a former first grade teacher, is committed to providing a stimulating environment. She is positive, fun and very, very creative. Her assistant Lyndsay is great too! I feel so lucky to have found this childcare. My daughter loves going to “cool.” She’s been there for 6 months and she's never cried at drop off. “Teacher Jen” and “Teacher Lyndsay” are like family to her and she’s always doing something fun and interesting with them.
