Highly recommended warm and loving care for your child
here. Both my girls came here and I was so thankful to
find Yukei. Her home is warm, welcoming, and always
cleaner than my house ever is. I felt my girls were safe
and well loved here. Yukei is fluent in English and
Spanish also.
The daycare hours are between 8 am and 5:30 pm M-F.
Location is near 35th Ave off of 580.

Are you looking for a daycare situation, but not quite ready
for a large pre-school. My son's daycare, Sweet Smiles, is
located in the Laurel/Dimond district in Oakland with easy
access to 580 and 13. A home-based daycare, this setting is
perfect for children between 1 and 3 years of age. The
daycare is bilingual (Spanish) and Yukei, the owner is
incredibly warm, loving and patient. While she is licensed
for 12, she does not take more than 6 kids. She offers
meals and is open from 8 am to 5:30. I cannot recommend
Yukei more highly- she is like family to all of the families
whose children she cares for. My son had virtually no
transition to being with Yukei. Her prices are reasonable
and she currently has one opening. Please contact her
directly at 384-2263.

My son's daycare, Sweet Smiles, has a couple full or part time openings. The daycare is bilingual (Spanish) and is owned and operated by Yukei Oceguera and her assistant Susana. They are both warm and loving caregivers. Just a few of the great things about this place include:
*** excellent ratio (2 caregivers for no more than 8 kids). *** bilingual (your child will learn Spanish) *** healthy meals available (if you want) *** convenient location (near MacArthur and close to 580) *** very safe, clean, and child- friendly home;My son loves Yukei and Susana- they are incredibly warm and caring. He adjusted very easily. This is an ideal setting for a 1-3 year old who is not ready for a large pre-school setting yet. Brightstar Contact: Yukei Oceguera, (510) 384-2263
My son's daycare has a couple of spots available for
toddlers between 9mos and 2.5 years. Yukei, the owner, and
her assistant are loving, attentive, and patient caregivers
and they maintain an excellent child to adult ratio of 4:1.
They offer free play, some circle time, singing, dancing,
art, and nap time. This is an ideal arrangement for those
parents looking for a safe and clean small, family daycare.
They speak Spanish and English and rates are affordable.
My son is very happy, well fed and cared for, and I can't
recommend Yukei more highly.

My son's daycare, Sweet Smiles, has two spots available for toddlers 1-2.5 year old. This is ideal for someone looking for a small family setting (she will take no more than 8, though she is licensed for 14). Yukei, the owner, and her assistant, Susana are wonderful, loving, and patient caregivers. I feel very comfortable leaving my son with them- he is always well fed, rested and in good spirits when we pick him up. He had essentially no transition to her. The children engage in lots of free play, circle time, music and dancing. They primarily speak Spanish to the children, though their English is fine as well. A friend of mine recently transferred her son there from a nanny and he has transitioned very well as well. I can't recommend Sweet Smiles more highly. The prices are very reasonable and home cooked meals are also available for an additional fee. They are located on Maple Ave off of MacArthur in the Laurel district. Contact: Yukei Oceguera, 384-8051
