I heartily recommend Robin's Nest daycare. Robin has a licensed, home- based family daycare for infants and toddlers. Here's what I love:
- small (approx. 4 children), and accepts young infants
- Robin is a wonderful nurturer with decades of experience. I feel I'm leaving my baby with an aunt or grandma. He is definitely loved and happy in her care.
- Feels like home rather than a center, complete with pets and a backyard with real dirt.
- Robin is so supportive of babies and their parents. My parents live far away, and I am blessed to have her decades of experience and common sense re: teething, naps, feeding, etc. She is very reassuring.
- Convenient location on residential street near Shattuck/MLK/Ashby/Dwight, & walkable distance to BART (10-12 min walk)
- She has raised her own child (now grown) and hasn't forgotten what it's like to be a parent of a little one.
- She obviously loves her life's work. Many children & adults she has helped to raise are still in her life and considered extended family.

Opening at Robins Nest Daycare. Robin currently has an opening for an infant. My daughter went to Robins Nest for 2.5 years and just graduated to Pre school. My son will be starting Robins nest in the next month at 4 months old. Robin provides a loving family home that is very cozy and Berkeley inspired. Robin cared for my daughter as if she were her own. Robin encourages creative growth, and is sensitive to family needs. Robin was very flexible with working parents schedules and give you peace of mind. Robin provides wonderful meals and snacks throughout the day. She also encourages breast feeding and supports moms dropping in to breast feed if they like. I highly recommend Robins Nest and hope your little one can join the group. Contact: Robin Fetisoff, 510-843-8897

Current opening for an infant. Robin's Nest provides a safe and stimulating environment for young children. Robin takes only a few kids so they get plenty of attention while still having the chance to interact with each other. Her home is warm, comforting and inviting, full of curiosities for growing minds. We came across Robin's Nest here on BPN in the reviews section and from what we've seen, it's all true. She has flexible hours (7:30a to 7:30p), healthy meals, and a successful track record (as demonstrated by the frequent visits from kids- now grown up- for whom she previously cared). Robin provides a level of care that is rare to find. Call Robin for more information or e-mail me with any questions. Chris Contact: Robin Fetisoff, (510) 843-8897

Robin's Nest in Berkeley has 2 openings for infants or toddlers. I can't say enough about how much we love Robin she is a very important member of our family. My daughter has been going to Robin's since she was 4 months old she is now 17 months. Some of Robin's kids are transitioning to Preschool so there will be openings in July. Robin tries to keep the number of children to 4 or 5 so each child receives individual attention and love. Robin provides healthy lunches and snacks throughout the day. Robin was amazingly helpful and supportive of breastfeeding. She has been doing this for over 20 years and her knowledge base is wonderful to draw from so helpful for new mom's. All her children she cares for are well respected and encouraged to be individuals. My daughter and the other children truly love Robin and would like to welcome a few more children to the home. Please contact Robin for an interview.

Our childcare provider, Robin, has openings. Robin has been taking care of kids and babies for over 20 years. My two year old loves her. I know many of the kids (and now some adults too) who grew up under Robin's care. Robin creates a warm, fun environment where the kids feel ''at home'' while learning, having fun and bonding with each other. Usually kids start as babies (our daughter started when she was 3 months old), but Robin is open to all ages. Please contact Robin directly at 843-8897 or email me if you have any questions. Holly

I would again like to recommend the childcare provider who co-mothered our children for 12-plus years. Robin gives amazing care to infants and toddlers. Fully licensed and with years of experience, Robin has taken many child development and safety classes to ensure the best experience for her clients. She provides a loving, safe, happy environment. She encourages every kind of learning experience and just has a wonderful instinct for kids. My almost-adult kids definitely consider her extended family and visit often. I cannot recommend anyone more highly. Contact: Robin Fetisoff, 510 843-8897

Because two sets of siblings have graduated, Robin's Nest has a few fulltime openings in this loving family day care. Our two year old daughter has been there since she was 7 months old and she just can't wait to go to Robbie's. She'd love to have more kids to play with. Located on Parker St. near MLK, Robin's Nest is full of love and fun. Contact: Robin Fetisoff, 510/843-8897 robinsnestbrkly at yahoo.com
I am writing about my great childcare provider, Robin. Her program is called Robin's Nest. My two year old has been attending Robin's Nest since she was 4 months old. I couldn't imagine leaving my baby; then I couldn't believe that my partner and I were so lucky to have Robin in our lives. Robin has genuine love for the kids she cares for. She creates a family atmosphere in her home were each child is loved and encouraged. The kids develop relationships with each other and they LOVE being there. Recently Robin ''graduated'' two sets of siblings. Two of the kids had been there for all 7 years of their lives and they are great happy social kids! The good news is that means there are some openings. My daughter misses her friends and we are all eager to see who will come next. Robin's number is 843-8897 or contact me for any info about Robin's Nest. Holly Contact: Robin, 510-843-8897

Robin's Nest in Berkeley has an opening. Robin is an excellent, licensed child-care provider. She has cared for infants and toddlers in her home for many years and has taken all of the required classroom training to maintain her licensing. She has a natural instinct for kids and they love her. They are fed well, taken care of perfectly, and encouraged and stimulated toward growth in all areas. The babies at Robin's are healthy, happy and having fun. Robin raised both of my ''babies,'' who are now in their late teens and still spend time at her house, as their ''second mom.'' Robin is local to the campus and very helpful and flexible about hours and parents' special needs. Give her a call. Contact: Robin Fetisoff, (510) 843-8897
