Hello, I've seen the reviews about Peter Pan Preschool in Mariner Square in Alameda, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Peter Pan Academy located on Mecartney Road in Alameda. We've toured the facility and have popped in a couple of times. It seems to have a nice feel, but I'd really like to get feedback from people who have had their kids there. Thanks! anonymous

My 4.5 year old daughter is in kindergarten at Peter Pan Academy and, so far, we've been happy with it. There are both AM and PM classes with only 8 students in each one. They are teaching Math, Spanish, Science and Reading and Writing. Each student has a job that they rotate weekly. There is a reasonable amount of homework. Hot lunches are included in the tuition, the hours are good and there are few holidays, which is great for working parents. Also, at least three teachers have been there for almost 30 years - which is very positive. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Jessica
