Our daughter attended full time daycare at Mother's Touch Daycare from 8 months until almost 3 years of age. She absolutely loved it. Sharon Langskov, the owner, truly cares about the kids at her daycare. She exudes warmth and creates a very calm, safe and nurturing environment for the children. There are lots of age-appropriate toys and activities for the kids, and if the weather is nice, the kids are usually running around in the playground area that she set up in the front yard. Her daughter, Amber, also works as a caregiver. The low child to caregiver ratio at Sharon's was one of the factors that led us to select her daycare. Our child was slow to mobilize herself (crawling and walking) and needed lots of holding and cuddling when she was an infant. It was daunting to leave our young baby in someone else's care, but we felt confident about having Sharon care for her when we saw how gentle and affectionate Sharon was in their first meeting. We give Sharon our highest recommendation as she truly has a mother's touch.
My daughter is one and has been going to Sharon at Mother's
Touch Daycare for only two months, but she already loves
Sharon and her daughter Amber. As soon as she sees them, she
is all smiles. Sharon shows her and the other children
affection and care and fosters love between them. Sharon knows
children well and her care is guided by their needs and wants,
rather than a strict schedule. The ratio of caregiver to child
is high with two adults taking care of 5 kids max. My daughter
loves the variety of age-appropriate toys, books and
activities available. Sharon has converted her front yard into
a playground with slides, raised sandbox and grass. Her rates
are affordable and her pick-up/drop-off times flexible. I
highly recommend Mother's Touch Daycare.

I would like to recommend Mother's Touch Daycare, which my son attended for nearly 3 years. It is an excellent small home based daycare, where kids get a lot of affection and attention. The ratio of caregiver per child is really high, as Sharon and her daughter Amber take care of 6 kids max. It is great for infant and young toddlers. Sharon as lots of toys, books and activities available and knows kids very well! Also her rates are affordable. Give Sharon a call at 510-636-8766. Thank you! Marion
''Mother's Touch Daycare'', the daycare my child attends,
has an opening for a 2 year-old or older. Weekends and
part-time may be available as well for any age. It is a
small, play-based daycare in a home environment. The child
to caregiver ratio is very low and home-cooked meals are
provided. My child has been there for almost three years,
since she was 6 months old. She is always happy there and
receives lots of attention. It is located very close to
highways 580 and 13. I do not know the license# but
Sharon, the owner, is licensed and can provide you with this
and any other info you need. Please call her with any
questions.

Mother's Touch daycare, located on Mountain View (near Hwy 13 and 580 at Seminary Ave.) has 1-2 full time openings for child care this September. I have been taking my son here since he was 6 months old and have been very pleased. Sharon Langskov is the owner, she is a mother and grandmother with a warm, loving home. She and her daughter Amber take wonderful care of the children. She offers both part time and full time rates which include meals and snacks. She also offers flexible hours and weekend baby sitting when needed. If you are looking for a small, home-based daycare in the Oakland hills area I highly recommend Mother's Touch daycare. Please call or email me with questions. Thanks, Kelly
If you are looking for a place for your child that is warm, clean, bright and inviting with a loving caregiver who is concerned about the happiness and well being of each child in her care then Mother's Touch is the place you have been looking for! Sharon has a sweet way with children and they are drawn to her. I have seen children meeting her for the first time crawl right up into her lap for a snuggle! The environment has a very homey feel to it and the pace is relaxed and comfortable. As a grandmother I couldn't think of a better place for my grandchildren to go! Give her a call and arrange a visit. I think you will be glad you did! Contact: Sharon Langscove, 510-636-8766 or langoak01[at]aol.com
I would like to recommend Mother's Touch Daycare. My daughter, 3, has attended Mother's Touch since she was 4 mos. old, and our new baby will also start there soon. We are extremely happy with the attention and care our kids receive.
Sharon Langskov offers a loving home-based environment. She does some preschool activities (art projects and reading time) and also gives kids ample freedom to play as they wish with the many indoor and outdoor toys and games available. Sharon is patient and kind to children of all temperaments and personalities. Both energetic and shy kids can happily fit in there.
Our oldest is moving on to academic preschool this fall,
and so Sharon has openings for toddlers (aged 2+ years)
available. (No infant spots available at this time.) You
can call Sharon directly. If you want to speak to me
about my recommendation, ask Sharon to give you Erin's
phone number.
