I would like to recommend Jenny's Day Care in Rockridge. We have only been sending our daughter there for several months but it is great. Jenny has ~11 children ages 1-5y (although she takes kids several weeks old). She is very loving and gives lots of hugs and cuddling. She has been doing this for 20+ years and is very experienced, also does Montessori method. She seems to know what each child needs and treats each one individually. She takes care of the kids' physical needs (eating, diapering, etc) while focusing more on their emotional/intellectual needs (learning, independence, play) and makes it look easy. She is fantastic.
