ur wonderful nanny, Monica, is moving on to open her own licensed, home-based small daycare in El Sobrante, accepting new clients now. She started working for us last year as a baby sitter and started working for us as a full time nanny in July. Since our very first interview with her we were thrilled with how well she interacts with children, getting down on the floor to engage them and win their trust. She genuinely loves children and exudes the kind of playful yet authoritative direction that children willingly follow. Our son is extremely active and inventive in exploring and climbing, and Monica is so much better than us at redirecting his curiosity in a gentle way. Our son absolutely adores her, and has blossomed under her care. Monica speaks English well, and Spanish fluently. She is absolutely reliable. We are terribly dissapointed to see her go and wish her the best of luck in her new endeavor. The hours will be very flexible, as early as 6am and as late as midnight, Monday through Friday.
