My husband and I would like to recommend Miriam, our former daycare provider, who has two available spots beginning immediately. We had to move to a new city and are very sad to lose her. Miriam cares for children in her home on a quiet street in the Laurel district. She is seeking two more children ages 0-3 yrs.
We feel very fortunate to have found Miriam, who plays and sings with the kids, reads to them, and takes them to the nearby park. She devoted a great deal of time to our 14-mos-old son. She is extremely loving, warm, devoted, and responsible. We are heartbroken to lose her!
She is a Spanish speaker and can communicate in limited English. She attends language classes and her English is improving all the time. My husband and I don't speak Spanish, but have felt very happy and secure in our interactions with her, and find it easy to communicate. A lead parent in our group is also available for detailed translation when necessary. Rates and hours are affordable and flexible.
Please contact the lead parent in our group, Susan-Jane, for more information and references. Contact: Susan-Jane, susanjane.harrison@gmail.com
