I am writing to recommend my fabulous daycare provider of the past 18 months. Flora, along with her assistant Marina, run Madlock Day Care, a small family daycare in her home, where the kids are lovingly nurtured and have a fun, safe place to play. Both Flora and Marina are former school teachers by training, so love to read the children books, take them to the park, do circle time with singing and practicing their colors, etc in both English and Spanish. Flora is incredibly experienced and almost gives you a sense that you are leaving your child with an experienced aunt. She has given many working parents the confidence to go back to work, knowing that their children are going to be well looked after. She prepares the children delicious, home cooked meals and even hosted a Costa Rican fiesta for the parents this last holiday. Flora has become a loving second mother to our son and we are heartbroken to leave her care, but are moving out of the area.
