I would like to let all parents know that Kids of the Kingdom has openings for ages 2-5 potty trained or close to it. They are a mix of play based & educational based, a very good mix that most children will thrive in. My son is a student there and I am very happy with his progress. The student child ratio is 1:5, the student body is diverse. The school hours are flexible, and the rates VERY reasonable. They have open enrollment, and are year round. Please call them and take a look at the school, I looked at over a dozen schools in the Oakland/San Leandro and couldn't be happier with the choice I have made. Kids of the Kingdom is located at 8800 Fontaine st., oakland #510-569-0600. You can e-mail directly if you have any questions about the school, and feel free to call the school and schedule a tour!!! Kids of the Kingdom is a new pre-school near the Oakland Zoo. My 4 year old boy started in February and loves it. The school is well organized and the director is awesome. She has worked in childcare for many years and is dedicated to starting this new school in our underserved neighborhood. Everything is brand new and full of energy and love. They take children 2.9 years to long as they are poddy-trained. The school is at 8800 Fontaine, across from Howard Elementary, in the United Lutheran Church facility, off of the Kellar Avenue exit of 580. Feel free to contact me for more info or call the director doMetryse Lewis at 510-569-0600. Millicent
