Affordable, Cozy Family Daycare near Grand Lake

I recommend Binh Nguyen & her quality, affordable family daycare located just off Grand Ave in Oakland. Binh & her assistant have cared for my daughter since she was 5 mos old. She cared for my friend's little girl for 1.5 yrs and came highly recommended. One of the best aspects is the low child to provider ratio (2:1). They only take 4 kids max & only infants up to 2 yrs old. Binh operates in Vietnamese & English. Hours are 8:00 am-5:30 pm, Mon-Fri.

Binh provides a wonderful environment in her bright, sunny home. The day care area is very clean with hardwood floors (w/ mats) & lots of windows. They take the kids out in the back for fresh air daily. They are loving, attentive, and my daughter smiles happily every morning when we arrive. Scheduled naps are part of the routine, and they can help your child get used to a regular naptime if s/he doesn't have one yet! Your child will be loved, clean, well cared for, and happy at the end of the day. Binh has an opening for 2 Full Time spaces in September. Call her! You won't regret it!

Binh Nguyen and her assistant, Vivien have cared for my daughter since she was 5.5 months old (nearly a year now).

Binh typically cares for 4 kids, all 2 years old or younger. Since we started using Binh, she has always had an assistant Vivien, which makes for the best adult to child ratio we found.

The kids play in one room and sometimes go outside. When there are older more mobile kids, Binh will take the two oldest kids to the library for story time on Wednesdays while Vivien watches the two younger ones.

My daughter loves going there each morning.

Binh and Vivien both provide a lot of love for the kids. They sing with the kids, play with them, have toys and books that they rotate in/out regularly. They make sure our daughter gets enough to eat, by offering the meal and snacks that we bring, throughout the day. tmarcia

I would like to recommend Binh Nguyen and her daycare, Kim's Home Daycare. Binh and her assistant, Vivien, have cared for my daughter for the past year and a half, since she was six months old. Binh and Vivien provide a wonderful environment for babies and toddlers, with lots of loving attention and age-appropriate activities, including music, reading, trips to the park, etc. My daughter has thrived under Binh and Vivien's care, and I could not have asked for a better daycare experience for her. Binh's house has truly been like a second home for my daughter. Kim's Home Daycare is open M-F, 8 am to 6 pm, and has one opening available now and one opening available August 1. Binh Nguyen has a very nice small home childcare. She offers full and part time care for infants through pre-kindergarten children at reasonable prices. Binh is the primary care provider with occasional help from her sister.

Presently Binh has one dedicated playroom in her house. It is best suited for infants through young toddlers full time, and as part time care for more active toddlers and preschool age children. She may be moving to a house nearby in December to provide more play area for the bigger kids.

Binh has been caring for my daughter for 1 1/2 years, since she was 5 months old, on a part time basis. We appreciate the care she gives our daughter. Our daughter loves Bihn.

Binh ''Kim'' Nguyen is a fantastic caregiver! Her home-based daycare is near Grand Ave/Welden. She's been running her daycare for over 10 years (licensed). She has 3 very smartchildren at Berkeley and Cal Poly. My 1 yr old son has been under her care for 6 months and he loves her. She holds him alot and cooks him organic food.
