My daughter (11 mos) has been attending Kiddie Korner, a home-based daycare for the past 4 months. She is doing really well there, and we are all very pleased and happy. There are currently 3 infants (under 2 yrs) enrolled and they are looking to fill a 4th spot, which recently opened. I highly recommend Kiddie Korner.
The owner, Laura, and her daughter, Roberta provide wonderful and loving
care. They have a nice shaded outdoor space where the children spend a lot of
time. Laura provides food and snacks when they are able to eat all solids. Both
Laura and Roberta and very experienced, competent, and flexible. My
daughter absolutely adores Roberta and gets along well with the other
children.
The daycare is located very close to Highway 24 (MLK entrance). Hours are
8am to 5:30pm.

My son is moving from his daycare to preschool, and there will be a space for a full-time child at his daycare starting in January. Laura Valenzuela of Kiddie Korner daycare has cared for our son from the age of 3 months until 3 years, and has provided loving, caring, family-oriented care. I highly recommend her. Our son loves going to ''Nana's'' house, and has really thrived and learned so much from her over the years. We're sad to leave, but wanted to enroll our son in a larger preschool with more kids his age. Kiddie Korner is located near Ashby BART, easily accessible from Rockridge, Emeryville, Berkeley. Kiddie Korner Daycare, a licensed, home-based daycare, is a warm, caring, and nurturing family based daycare for our 11 month-old daughter. Laura Valenzuela, owner and operator, is an experienced, enthusiastic and loving provider for our daughter. She and her daughter Roberta provide wonderful care. Our daughter started going to Kiddie Korner at age three months and simply loves Laura, Roberta and the other children. She gets plenty of attention and outdoor time as well. Laura provides a warm loving atmosphere where the children
can play, learn, and grow. Laura and her daughter are great
with the children. Her rates are reasonable and offers

Our nanny who has been with us for the last 4 1/2 years has starting her own daycare. I encourage you to give her a call as she provided wonderful loving care for our daughter as well as other children that have been part of our share. Kiddie Korner is a small home based family daycare that will provide a safe, loving, clean, fun and stimulating environment. Provider has 25+ years of childcare experience and is CPR, First Aid and Health and Safety certified. Kiddie Korner will provide a family style atmosphere with daily activities, including age appropriate learning, games, puzzles, arts & crafts, story time and outdoor play. Provider is bilingual in Spanish and has experience teaching pre-school skills including colors, alphabet, shapes, flash card games and hands on activities.
