These are licensed daycares & preschools that are in the caregiver's home, that have been reviewed in the Berkeley Parents Network newsletters. This is not a complete list, just the ones that BPN subscribers have posted reviews for. Most of our subscribers are in the area around Berkeley/Oakland, so daycares in other areas are not as well represented.
Contacting: Many of these daycares are one-person operations run out of someone's home. Openings may be rare and sporadic. Check the weekly Childcare newsletter for openings and announcements, or phone your local childcare referral agency such as Bananas in Alameda County or Coco Kids in Contra Costa County.
