If you are looking for a home-based daycare in the El Cerrito area I would highly recommend Gentle Start Daycare. Felicia has been so incredible for my son! He has spent the past two years with her and has absolutely thrived. We will be transitioning him to preschool soon and will be very sad to leave but know that Max is well prepared for the next steps.

There are about 5-6 kids at a time with the group of children and families being very diverse. Felicia was always supportive and flexible during developmental changes such as nap times and potty training. She is so kind and patient with all of the children and has provided my son with confidence in himself, enthusiasm for learning and respect for others.

She has super great rates (trust me, I compared!), and ALL snacks and lunches are provided at no additional cost.
