Hi, I have been looking for information on Cottage in the Woods preschool in Oakland (Dimond area) and have not been able to find any reviews on them. Not sure if they just do not get enough advertisement, recognition or people are just indifferent to their services. I welcome any comments, information or experiences - good or bad. Thank you. I think one of my first impressions of the school was how nice the kids were. To me that said a lot. The teachers are incredibly nurturing and the kids seem to have learned all of these positive behaviors through the stimulating activities that Miss Sara plans for them each day. I only wish I could continue my daughter there for kindergarten. It's truly a home away from home. Fyi, if you're interested sign up soon, they fill up fast. Cottage Parent

Can someone tell me some updated information on the 'Cottage in the Woods' preschool? The archive information is from 2004 and doesn't list much info. Is the school play-based or learning based? What are the hours? Also, is there a waiting list I should be aware of? Any information you can provide would be great! Thanks! thinking ahead mom

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about this daycare/preschool? It doesn't appear in the Archives (yet?). I'm looking to move my son from his present home-based daycare to someplace supportive, w/ more art/creativity as well as playing. I've heard some good 'reviews' of Cottage in the Wood, but would like more feedback, if possible. Thanks! Time for a change
