I haven't used Brown House, but I go to Totland (across the street) a lot and I see the Brown House staff there with the kids often. From an observer's perspective, I think they do a good job -- they are energetic and engaged with the kids, and it is certainly a plus to have the park so close! They always seem to be having fun together. The one thing I would question them closely about is how they make sure the big kids don't roughhouse too much with the kids that are smaller. When my son was littler -- about 13-16 months -- it seemed that the older (3-4 or more years old) Brown House kids would bowl him over at the park if I didn't keep close tabs on him. Of course I did -- he was little! But it makes sense that the B.H. staff didn't feel the need to follow a 3-yr-old around as closely as I was following a toddler...
