re: drop-in childcare
Leonore Austin, Austin Family Day Care, in El Cerrito just took my daughter as a drop-in this week. I don't know if Leonore has a policy on drop-ins; my daughter had gone there for a short time last year and then stopped because we didn't need daycare anymore. I called a few days a ahead of time to make sure she had room for a 14-month-old who would come for just two days. It worked out fine and my daughter seemed to have a great time.
