I would like to enthusiastically recommend the fabulous daycare, A+ Learning Academy in Oakland. My 2½ year old son has been with Aisha and her loving staff for over 2 months and is not only learning, he is exploding with knowledge! He knows his numbers in not only English, but in Spanish and French as well. Aisha is a great teacher and I plan on keeping him in her care when he is pre- school age rather than moving him to a big pre-school. I would like to recommend a family daycare that we started at a few weeks ago, and think is really great. A+ learning academy.My son is 19 mos and this is our 1st experience with group care. A+ is set up like a preschool, and the kids day is very structured. There is a full time teacher that works w/ Aisha, plenty of room inside and out and its very clean.Aisha also serves breakfast, lunch & snacks, using organic food when possible. My son has loved it there since the 1st day. He comes home saying the other kids names. It's also really close to the bridge, if your heading to the city. I highly recommend my son's daycare, A+ Learning Academy. It's located in West Oakland, convenient to downtown. Aisha has a bachelor's in child development from Chico State and is very responsible and creative with the children. Just recently, she had a mobile farm come out to the daycare to celebrate fall/harvest time! I don't know about her availability at this time but she's definitely worth checking out.
