Our fabulous daycare has a rare opening. Alegria daycare is run by a wonderful, caring woman, Paty, and her two assistants. There are a max of ten children there. My youngest son currently is with Paty and before him, my eldest son was there for 2 years. Paty does so much with the kids. She is really into arts and crafts and comes up with some darling projects that even the really little kids can get into. She also has ample outdoor time, including a little wading pool when it is hot and gardening activities. She is constantly bringing in new toys and keeps the kids busy and entertained. My oldest son who is now in preschool at times goes back when his preschool is closed and talks about how much fun he has with Paty. I can not recommend her highly enough. Alegria Daycare has openings Sept. 1 for baby/toddler (3 months old min.). My daughter receives excellent care with Patricia. My son was under Patricia's care when he was at another day care 2 yrs ago. I can't say enough good things about Patricia, especially now that she has her own day care. The babies are so loved! Plus, she really works with them individually to help prepare them for their next step, preschool. She has circle time and teaches them basics without drilling them or forcing them. My daughter lights up when she goes there. I get great reports from Patti as well as art pieces and other things she does during the day. The kids get outdoor play in the nice yard out back. The house is orderly and clean. The size is small (no more than 6 even though she's licensed for 8). We'd love to see another nice family who respects Patti's philosophy and business practices to join us. Lynn

There is a rare opening in my child's small family daycare with Pati Pasquel. I can not recommend Pati highly enough. There are six children total in her home and Pati works with an assistant, Jessie. Pati speaks fluent English and Spanish. My son has learned so much from Pati. Everyday she has new and fun activities for him. She is an incredibly warm and loving person who has endless amounts of energy and enthusiasm for the kids. Her home is clean and inviting and she has tons of toys and books. She also has a large backyard for the kids to play in and has lots of outdoor activities in the summer months. Her hours are 7:30 to 5 and she is located right off the freeway near 35th Avenue and 580. Her prices are also very reasonable. Pati can be reached at (510) 536-3874.
