Albany/Berkeley Chinese School
Sept 2004
When he turns 3, I am considering sending my biracial (Jewish-
Chinese) son to the Berkeley/Albany Chinese School on Jackson
street in Albany. There is nothing in the archives regarding
parent/child experiences or impressions of this pre-school/day
care. I would appreciate any feed back from parents who have
interviewed or toured the school as well as alumni or current
student. Also, does anyone have any info about the number and
treatment of biracial children at the school? Thanks! sandy

my niece goes to the chinese school and has for the last couple
of years after kindergarten, first grade and now second grade.
she loves it and so do her parents. her teacher often raves
about how smart she is - noone speaks chinese at home and she
still picks some up at chinese school, participates in the
dances and other activities. she is african american mix
