I'm interested in enrolling my son in one of the Small Fry preschool classes through the Alameda Rec and Parks department in the fall. There are five locations, and I would like opinions on any and all of them. I would also appreciate opinions on the program in general. Many thanks!
>From what I can tell, Tiny Tots does a good job at teaching social skills, circle time skills, and the other basics I'd like a child to have before entering kindergarten (writing name, waiting for a turn, listening to a story, etc.).
Personally, I would love to be able to send my own child to the Tiny Tots program. You can't beat the price, and it does the things I believe a preschool should do.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you about any specific locations - sorry! My students tend to come from the middle of the island, though. Hope this info helps. Alameda Teacher and Mom of a 2 year old
