Visiting Vermont

May 2003

My family is going to central Vermont for a family reunion this summer. We are hoping to spend up to an extra week somewhere in New England--not too far of a drive from central Vermont, preferably in a rented cabin with a place to swim (lake or river, etc.). Can't be super expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to go in Vermont, New Hampshire, upstate NY or western Massachusetts? Thanks for any suggestions. CM

Consider going to Quebec. Short drive from where you are, cheap nice accomodation on beautiful lakes, French immersion... Eastern township would probably be where you would want to go. Check Quebec tourism website. j
