We love the Harbor Bay Club in Alameda. It has pretty trees
and a relaxing atmoshpere.

I read the previous messages on this topic and decided to post
since you said ''near'' oakland. We live in Alalmeda & love the
Harbor Bay Club. The outdoor pool had lots of chairs and is
warm - year 'round! There are lots of children of all ages &
swim classes (starting with water babies). Great gym equipment
and the usual hot tub, sauna, steam room set-up. Good yoga
classes. Its around $500 to join - and around $175 after
that. They have on-site daycare.
