Grover Hot Springs
We would like any recommendations/comments good and bad about
Grover Hot Springs in Markleville for camping. There will be
two families with kids 9, 7 & 4.

That is a great age for GHS. My extended camping group went once
and the kids (ages 13 &15) still talk about it. Great bicycling,
good hike to waterfalls, big rocks to climb all over the camp
area, maybe a stream going through and of course the hot springs
and pool. I recall something unusual about the pricing for the
hot springs/pool but don't recall what it was.... Bear lockers
and the possibility of were the only negative. There is a great
restaurant/bar at the intersection where you turn to get on the
road to the camp. We took the kids there for breakfast and
dinner. Have fun!

We love Grover Hot Springs. No special comment on the campground, it's typical
and very nice. Bring quarters for showers. The surrounding area is really beautiful.
Pretty high though, so dress warmly unless you're going mid-summer months.
