I don't need a super warm, particularly friendly physician. I would like somebody that who listens, is competent and doesn't have a ton of other patients so I don't have to wait in the waiting room. Also, my ideal doctor, while mindful of limitations of western medicine, should not be prone to suggesting homeopathy or other alternative treatments which seem like faith healing to me (and therefore don't work for me because of my lack of faith in them); somebody not afraid to use the full arsenal of drugs that those wonderful companies work so hard to invent. :-)
