In Lafayette I highly recommend Dr. Maria Steelman at Lafayette Pediatrics, 3210 Old Tunnel Rd, Lafayette, Phone:(925) 287-9220. I have been taking both of my children there for 3 years now. She and her staff are wonderful, thorough, and very skilled. Plus, her waiting room will take your kids' (as well as your) mind off why you're there. Dr. Maria is always available, either in person or by phone, and gives you an intelligent, thoughtful, respectful opinion about your children's issues. She refers you to specialists that are the top of the line too. She really is a gem. I have never had a problem there, getting a ''live'' person or even Dr. Maria herself. I highly recommend her. Re: Pediatrician in San Ramon/Danville
We have been very pleased with our pediatrician, Maria Steelman. Her office is in Lafayette, not too far from Danville, with easy access from highway 24. When our daughter (now 9 weeks) was born a month early and required some extra care, Dr. Steelman visited her at Alta Bates twice a day! She is thorough, wonderful with infants, can always be reached by cell phone, and listens well to all our concerns. Tara
