Seeking a More Personal ObGyn Practice

Berkeley Parents Network > Reviews > Health & Medical > ObGyns > Seeking a More Personal ObGyn Practice

Sept 2004

My current OB/Gyn practice in the East Bay seems competent but pretty impersonal. Every time I go in, I feel like a stranger. I've already had a baby with this practice, but the two doctors I knew the best have since left. The remaining doctors (including those I've seen a few times) often have to consult the file for even the most basic info. (e.g. that I already have a child). Maybe the practice is just too big. Now that I'm pregnant again, I'm thinking of switching to a practice that's a little more personal -- one where the doctors actually remember you! Any recommendation in the Berkeley/Oakland/Alameda/Lamorinda area that are non-Kaiser would be very appreciated. Thanks! pregnant for the second time
