Re: Good female prim. care doc in Alta Bates or Hill?
I'm in Blue Shield/Alta Bates Medical Group and am satisfied
with my primary care physician, Sharon Jones. She's a
friendly, youngish (30s) African American woman in a solo
practice in San Pablo (across from Doctor's Medical, just
off of San Pablo Avenue and the I-80. Her office is a bit
run-down with an institutional feel, but other than that, no
complaints. She's very supportive and enthusiastic and
proactive about tests, etc..

I highly recommend Sharon J. Jones MD. She is not in Berkeley,
but in El Sobrante, not too far, just off Hwy 80, at San Pablo
Dam Road. She is very competent, highly knowledgeable, very
approachable, and it's not too hard to get an appointment. She
is in ABMG, takes many types of insurances.

Do you have a great primary care m.d. near Pinole? I don't totally trust my current m.d. and would love to get a recommendation. Thanks so much.
