Dr. Carmine Viccino on Chestnut Street in the Marina District is a very gentle dentist. His assistant is also very nice. marian I saw Dr. Donna Hurowitz on Post Street, near Union Square, for many years before switching to an East Bay dentist (identified initially through this list-serve!) solely cause I ended up both living and working on this side of the Bay. She is extremely thorough and professional. I recommended her to a number of friends who needed a lot of remedial work, and they became loyal patients as well, citing her gentleness as an additional positive attribute.
