Try Dr. Robt. Peri across from Alta Bates in Berkeley. We have been seeing him 30 years and he is top knotch! Co-workers at CAL had recommended him to me years ago as they all used him. They were right-he is the greatest and has good referals to others for work he doesn't do in his office. You are in good hands with Dr. Peri and his staff at 3000 Colby street, suite 300. Give them a call or just drop by to meet them someday. anon

RE: Dentists Who Do Great Crowns
Our dentist is Dr. Robert Peri whose office is in Berkeley across the street from Alta Bates Hospital off Ashby. In the course if 10 years of seeing him I have had two gold crowns from him and have been very happy. He is one of the more communicative dentists that I have experienced in 35 years of going to dentists as an adult. He explains what he is doing and why and does not push expensive procedures for their own sake. He does not mold crowns in the office like your current provider, but I have been happy with mine. He takes Delta Dental insurance. Otherwise, like us you will have to file with your insurance company. The most important thing I can say about Dr. Peri is that I trust him. I don't have his contact information in front of me, but he is in the Oakland/Berkeley phone book. Patrick
