Dr. Norman Hui is a great family dentist who I have been seeing for over 30 years (since I was a young child). I have insurance, but would be surprised if out of pocket costs are higher than average. The office is not fancy (although they do have People magazine), but the staff are helpful and friendly, the hygienists are good, and Dr. Hui is fantastic. We found a really good dentist on Ashby & Telegraph who takes Delta Dental. He is Dr. Norman Hui, 510-845-3704. He is very thorough, kind, and gentle. He takes time to explain things in great detail, in a very calm and relaxed manner. Moreover, he & his entire office are very child-friendly. Both he & his hygienists have endeared themselves to our 2.5 YO son, giving him ample attention and space to play, during office visits for mom & dad (on separate occasions.) While he is not a pediatric dentist, he does have a way with children (he's a loveable grandpa), and has gotten our son in his dental chair to check his teeth & gums. I also find his hygientists very detailed and very thorough. I can't recommend Dr. Hui enough! Sharon
