Try Phyllis Chen, DDS, at Mission Terrace Dental. I think she has some Saturday hours by appointment. She is a general dentist who sees our whole family including the kids (ages 6 and 8). The number is (415)586-3155. We started seeing her when the kids were very young. The first few visits were short and sweet. The kids liked going to the treasure box after seeing Dr. Chen. In fact, we are going to see her on veterans' day when school is closed, but her office is open. suzie

Our dentist Dr. Chen in SF is great with our kids. She's been treating them for 5 years now (now 5 & 7). It's not the most convenient place from Berkeley/Oakland, but we started off in the city and didn't want to change dentists. Dr. Chen has her own toddler and has a lot of experience treating kids of all ages so she knows how to approach them. We feel it's worth the commute (near Balboa BART) since our kids actually like the 'big trip' out there and like their dentist. They have video games in the lobby and movies/ CDs for patients.
