I have been using a great dentist in Oakland for over 25 years:  Dr. Howard
Brodke on Webster Street.  Good for adults and older kids.

I have also been with Dr. Brodke for about 20 years.  He is a great
dentist.  Great with kids.  My two kids, 4 and 8 have been going to
him since they were babies.  I like his style with the kids.  He had
me bring the kids with me when they were young, they would sit on my
lap when I was getting my teeth cleaned and checked, this way they
were seeing what he was doing and he would check their teeth also.  No
pressure if they were apprehensive.  When they got of age to get their
teeth cleaned and checked they were fine......  Also his fee schedule
is within Delta Dental....
