Road trip with Dog and 4-year-old (April 2002)
We're planning a road trip with our dog and 4 year old to
Canada this summer and would love some suggestions as to
pet friendly lodging along RTE 101 from Oakland to Port
Angeles, WA

I found ''Traveling with Your Pet: The AAA Petbook'' to be a
wonderful guide to lodgings that allow dogs. I got it free
from my AAA agent, but if you are not a member, I think it
costs $13.95. You can check their website at www.aaa.com

I inadvertently saw two books on places to stay with dogs
throughout the U.S. while I was looking for places to stay
in California. I was at Barnes & Noble looking under Travel
in the U.S. The workers there could help search for other
books as well.
