Single Mom and Christmas - Kids With Dad

I am generating ideas for a friend who will be alone for Christmas for the first time since a recent divorce. Her extended family is all with in-laws etc, and while she has friends who would welcome her it doesn't sound like fun to her to have Christmas with other people's kids. I thought some on BPN might have ideas about what she might do... maybe a Yoga retreat? Sierra Club hiking trip that wouldn't be all families? She has 12/25-12/31. Anon

she could go to esalen. there are some lovely sounding week long or weekend long workshops happening then. check it out at esalen.org i think it would be a beautiful healing place to be. esalen fan
